A Last, Parting Note

I know this is going to be out of order, but I wanted to post about my last day here while it's actually my last day here.

Last day in London. :(

My time here has been absolutely incredible. I've loved every minute of it and have been so lucky to come. I've made some amazingly amazing friends that I can't wait to hang out with in Provo, and I've learned a lot about not only my major, but myself.

Ahhh...its my last day! :'(

Its going to be hard to go back to normal life where I don't see two new movies and a (or more!) play every week, where I have 'free' spending money, where I can take readily available public transportation to any part of the city, where I get to experience one of the epicenters of this world.

Things I'll miss about London:
Tube stations--while the trains themselves can be hot and crowded, I really love riding them. Some of the
stations are so beautiful! Mind the gap!
Walking--I know I walk in Provo too...but its different here. The buildings are so incredible.
Gelato--Ya...somehow living in London makes getting gelato calorie-free. :D
Plays--PLAYS!! I love love love them SO much...I'm definitely going to attend more when I get back to Utah. Do
I have a season pass to the Hale Center buddy out there?
Southbank--We spent a lot of time here, going to the BFI several times a week and the National Theater. I'll
miss the atmosphere and Westminster and Big Ben and the London Eye and everything!
Jubilee Bridge--I've crossed it (running and walking) so many times. I'll miss it. :(
Diet Coke--I didn't get that much of it, but it tastes better here. More regular cokey, but still diet. Mmmm....
     Chocolate--no wax! YUMMY!!
Cheap YUMMY bread!--a pound for really good wheat bread! Unlike Walmart, cheap bread from Waitrose is
        actually good.
Nandos--WAAAAH. No more hot peri-peri chicken burgers! D':

Things I won't miss about London:
Cigarette smoke. Gross. Also...it gives you gray boogies :D hehe
Tube dust--it always blows in my eye...and what's it made of anyway?
     No air conditioning--enough said.
Small water glasses--every restaurant has teeny-tiny water glasses! I want a drink, not a shot!

...aaaaand that's it! I really do love it here. I wish it would've rained more, but the sun gave me a nice tan! Haha, well nice relative to how white I was before. :] I have a bracelet tan. Nice.

I love this experience and this place, and now its time to go home. Which, to be honest, I'm excited about as well. Two months is a long time to be without the creature comforts of home and family. Also....my parentes are going to take me through a Wendy's drive-thru when I get home. :D Also Rock Band! And sisters! And brother! And parents! And cookie baking! And piano! And theater room! And La Fountain! And Mimzi! And my bed and blanket!!

Goodbye London, and thanks for the good times. I had the time of my life and don't regret a second. :]
