We woke up bright and early after our sleepover to climb onto a bus and drive 6 hours to the beautiful Lake District! I love long bus/car rides, so this was heaven to me. And some much needed down time to listen to my music and write in my journal. And a great opportunity to get to know the people in my group better! We played many games, ate snacks, and broke out the headphone splitters for some group rocking-out.
On the way, we stopped at the Preston Temple to do some baptisms. It was beautiful! I unfortunately couldn't go in because I forgot to pack my temple recommend, but me and some other people in the same situation enjoyed the grounds and the church's free wifi. :D
This pine tree is so cool! What kind is it?
Back on the bus and we finally started to see some lakes!
This was the hostel we stayed, and the view from our window. It was actually really fabulous. The guy who owned it was very accommodating and the beds were clean and comfortable! I got the top bunk on the left.
We waited outside the hostel for a long time, patiently waiting for Jeff and Dean to figure out dinner for that night. We ended up walking to a park on the lake and had pizza and pop delivered to us. It was perfectly perfect! Four pieces of pizza later, I was a very happy camper.
A group of boys was playing music while they played soccer, and the more dance-inclined of our group went at it. :D

The park was absolutely gorgeous and was a beautiful way to end a day spent on a bus. We explored, climbed trees, and taught one of our professors and his son how to play ninja. So lovely!
