Medea!

Tuesday!

Class! And I didn't fall asleep! *and there was much rejoicing, Yaaaay* After class something magical happened! Dean came up to me with a ticket to the play we were going to see that night and said, "Do you have someone who could make use of this?" And I said "Ya!" So Kaitlin and I got to see Medea together! :D

The play was absolutely fabulous! It was only an hour and a half long which, in my book, really added to the story. For the story it was great to sit through it all without having to break for a intermission. The music, dance, and staging incorporated into this Greek tragedy complemented it perfectly. And the actress playing Medea, Helen McCrory (Narcissa in HP) knocked it out of the park. I loved her costuming in particular, and even though she decides to kill her boys in the sake of revenge, I was still somehow able to identify with her. I loved it and Kaitlin did too, which makes me very happy indeed. :}

I love how interdisciplinary our study abroad is. Art, museums, plays, nature, movies...I'm loving all of it!
